Schools: Accident Prevention & Management
Children and teens spend a significant part of their days at school. Whether playing during recess on the playground, exercising in gym class or practicing sports after school, accidents can easily happen. It is vital that the school staff as a whole be prepared to deal with these accidents - from the janitor to the cafeteria cooks, the teachers and the school nurse. Being prepared keeps kids safe, and reduces the risk of liability due to ineffective assistance. We offer two types of workshops for schools: one focusing only on dental accidents (2 hours) and another focusing on injuries in general (4 hours). This workshop is led by a group of professionals specialized in the areas of dentistry, pediatrics, ophthalmology and orthopedics and focuses on accident prevention and how to manage these occurrences.
Duration: 4 hours
Participants: Groups of 20 or more
